Caring for someone is rewarding, yet not easy, is tiring and that’s when you may wish to look for a Respite Care option. You may wish to have a break of a couple of weeks, whether planned or unplanned. If you go away on holidays, Respite Care is a great option to ensure that your loved one’s care needs are taken care of.

What is respite care?
Respite Care is temporary care when your usual carer is not available because of an emergency or a planned absence (their holiday or other occasions), or you require additional specialised support, for example after an accident.
The respite care can be provided in your own home, supported living accommodation or another setting.
We are regulated by Care Quality Commission, and unlike other agencies, our service is a fully managed service with an allocated care manager overseeing your care provision.
What type of respite care do I require?
Depending on your needs we provide:
Live-In Care Respite option
Visiting Care Respite option
Day Centres, other settings Respite option
Live-In Care respite option is for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks. Should you need live-in care for longer – then weekly live-in care costs will apply.
Visiting Care Respite option:
Prices Start from £18.00/hour for one-to-one care
Costs depend on specific care needs; enhanced rates during bank holidays, weekend and overnight care
Free assessment of your care needs, and
Free continuous support from your allocated care manager to ensure you are happy with the service
Flexible costs for 30min visits, 45 min visits or 60min visits
No call out charges
No travel charges

Housework and shopping
Everyday tasks are not only time consuming but also demand a certain amount of fitness and strength.
There are many types of tasks that Endurance Health can help support you with:
Housework, such as hovering, cleaning, tidying up
Postage & correspondence: writing letters, contacting person’s on your behalf
Shopping: making a trip to your local store, packing & unpacking the shopping
Attending appointments: assisting you to attend all important medical appointments
Support with social activities, such as assistance with attending swimming pool, gym or other interests
Gardening & maintenance: general gardening jobs such as taking weed out, brushing leaves, trimming bushes etc.
